Personality(one paragraph): Severus Snape is very cruel if you get on his bad side. He does not appreciate people making fun of him. When they do, he makes sure that he gets back at them. He is very reserved, mainly because he feels unworthy of some people, but also thinks they are disgusting (especially the Marauders).

History(two paragraph): Severus had a bad childhood what with his father's anger towards his mother. The yelling caused him to become furious with the world around him until he saw her. Lily Evans. She was his light. Meeting just before they went off to Hogwarts, they had a pretty shaky friendship. Especially when it came down to the fact that he was going down the opposite path Lily was. Gryffindor vs. Slytherin.
He became a Death Eater, befriending Bellatrix Lestrange and Lucius Malfoy as he started to get interested in the Dark Arts. He began to create new spells and ways for creating potions, sometimes with the help of Lily. Although he regrets everything he said to hurt her, it was never intentional. He has loved no one else as much as her and would die for her if necessary.
