Kaya's new song

Kaya sent an owl to Krista, Lily, and Brooklyn to play them her new song. She had everything she'd need and waited for them to come.

Brooklyn walked over to Kayalynn. "You wrote a new song? What's this one about?" she asked sitting down. Kayalynns songs were always about something that was going on in her life.

"The whole Catalina thing going on with Krista, Remus, Sirius, Leighanna, and such." she shrugged. "But it's pure genius."

Brooklyn laughed and shook her head. "Alright, well when your....friend gets here I guess we will listen to it." Brooklyn detested Lily Evans with a great passion and didn't know why Kayalynn even was friends with her.

Kaya glared. "Be nice to Lily, I know you don't like her but please just put up with her for a few minutes. After you hear the song you can leave."

Brooklyn waved a hand dismissively. "Whatever."

Krista walked out of the castle looking like she hadn't sleep at all the past couple days, because she hadn't. She sat down next to Brooklyn James and sighed. "What'd you want, what's this song about?"

Lily sat down next to Krista and smiled. "Come on Kaya, play the dang song already." she said excited.

Kaya nodded and played the guitar to the lyrics she wrote. She didn't even need her notebook, she already remembered it by heart.

Krista listened to the song and immediately knew what it was about. "Wow, it's great Kayalynn. I love it!" She smiled truly happy for the first time in a couple days.

"Wow! It's bloody fantastic!" Lily said happily. She knew Krista loved to sing, dance, and write. It's the thing that the Greens were best at, being on the stage.

Brooklyn agreed with Krista and Lily. "It was quiet good. You did a good job on it Kayalynn."

Kaya bowed and smiled widely. She loved performing just as much as she loved potions. "Thank you, thank you. I know i'm great at this." She joked and sat down. "So it was good?"

"Good?! It's great!" She smiled and hugged Kaya. "You are really good at this Kaya, you should think of doing something with this when you're older."

Reid jumped down from the tree they were all sitting by and sat next to Krista and put an arm around her. "You know, you should really dump Lupin. He doesn't seem to be that into you."

Krista shook her head, her depressed mood immediately back. "You have no feelings, do you Garwin?"

Reid acted hurt. "Of course I have a heart. Now you're toy Lupin...doesn't seem like he has one."

Krista hit Reid's chest then immediately regretted hitting it. "Ow! That hurt!"

Reid smirked. "I swim, lift, and work out."

Krista blushed and faintly remembered him doing all of those things during the summer. "Oh yeah."

"Alright, alright Garwin, stop showing off." Kaya laughed at him.
