Charting Stars and Charting Love

Jamie was charting the position of the stars for divination. The stars were beautiful perfect objects of whatever stars were made of. She set aside her homework and pulled tords her a peice of pale blue parchment that Green love Lupin, Lupin love Green and Willams, Willams love Lupin. Lovegood love Black. Potter love Evens. Snape love Evens. Jamie sighed and wrote with her quill Prophet love Snape she had only had one conversation with him but she felt so perfect now. it was a strange feeling not like when she had when she liked Padfoot. She felt like herself more that ever, even if he was a death eater.

"There you are, Luna," Celestia Ceres exclaimed peering into the tower. She gracefully bent down and scooped up her gray cat. "I should have known you would be up here." The cat seemed to have meowed a reply, her eyes shining.

Celestia quickly looked up and widely smiled, exposing her brilliant, pearly teeth. She was mesmerized by the stars that she did not want to leave. The Hogwart's sky was just as beautiful as back at home or at her last occupation.

After standing there for a few moments, she had to break her gaze away, or else she would never leave. Looking around the tower, she noticed that she was not alone. It was a girl. Celestia could not tell what the girl was doing with her parchment, but she seemed perfectly content. Celestia knew she was a student, but was not familiar with her. Approaching slowly, Celestia spoke while gazing up again, "The stars and open air often give one the satisfaction of beauty and silence. They help dreams and ideas and discoveries unfold, don't you think?" She absentmindedly started to pet Luna as she purred.

Jamie smiled and looked over at the Professer and her cat. "How are you Professer Ceres?" she asked

Celestia smiled at the girl. "I'm doing quite well," she spoke warmly.

Curiosity got the best of her, and Celestia peered down at the girl's parchment. With a frown she studied the names on the paper. "And yourself?" she asked politely and interested.

Eric walked up the stairs to the tower and froze when he saw Jamie. He would have ran back down but he saw both the Professer and Prophet had looked his way.

Jamie gasped then composed herself. He was just a person, not a monster. "Hello Eric" she manadged in a raspy wisper

Celestia watched as the boy came up. Noticing both of the students' expressions, she sensed a little tension. Trying to be friendly she gave a warm smile. She remembered what it was like being a student at Hogwarts. It hadn't been long since she just graduated! She knew that having a professor lurking around always made students feel uncomfortable or as though they had to cenor themselves.

Producing a fake yawn, Celesita spoke, "Eric, I hope you are doing well. I have a few things to take care of tonight. I will leave you two alone."

Celestia began to walk to the door, but then stopped and turned around. "It is a little late for students to be out of bed. Someone might think you're up to something," Celestia spoke eyeing the two. "If any professor should cause you any trouble for being out, simply tell them you were given special permission from me to work on your AStronomy." Celestia looked up one last time and muttered, "Saturn looks amazingly bright tonight."

She walked out of the tower, and started to descend the stairs before calling out, "Goodnight." Then she was gone.

Kayalynn snuck up to the astronomy tower without being noticed and saw Eric and Jamie. She looked at the two and noticed the tension. She watched carefully, hiding in the shadows skillfully. Her eyes were focused on the two intently, for she wanted to know what was going on. If she stayed long enough she might find out what is or was going on with her love and Jamie.

"So kind of the professer to leave us along Jamie don't you think? She is right you know, Saturn in amazingly bright" pausing he frowned. Saying it as if he just needed to get it out he said "Jamie we need to talk because you clearly have a problem with me.

Kaya watched Eric and Jamie with intense eyes, never leaving the two. She was confused by what Eric meant but decided to pay attention instead of thinking what they would need to talk about.
