Personality: Melanie tends to be more observant and quiet and shy than her sister. She doesn’t quite know who she is, and is still working on the self discovery process. She loves to try new things and has taken a certain liking to the Dark Arts. Even though she possesses a certain “darkness” to her, Melanie is a very kind hearted person. She is nice to people and can sometimes “tolerate” her enemies when needed. She isn’t much of a jealous person, except when it comes to her sister. Melanie tends to be rather jealous of the beauty her sister holds, and doesn’t see the beauty that she herself possesses. She often feels shadowed by her twin sister, and is trying to rebel in her perfect family. She enjoys friends, friends that are loyal, that is, but also loves to be on her own. She has taking a particular study to the arts and cultures.

History: Melanie has grown up living in different countries. She was born in France, where her parents lived for a few years then later moved to Romania to her father’s side of the family. The children attended a small private, magical school in Romania. To better protect her children from the Rising Dark Magic, Laurel insisted that they moved back to her homeland in England. Her children would finish their schooling there.
Melanie has always had a good relationship with her sister, Suniva. Melanie and Suniva are very close and have become greater friends as they grew older even though they are just about complete opposites. Melanie has become darker than Suniva over the years, however. It is probably the want to rebel, but also, something about the dark arts have always fascinated Melanie. Melanie likes to try new things and break the rules and tradition. She became a Death Eater from a friend that helped her in Romania. Her parents, and family, for the matter, are unaware of her belonging to the group. They knew that some obscene dark forces were acting on her in Romania, but they didn’t know that it had gone that far. Even though Melanie seems sweet and innocent she still cannot deny the fact that she is a Death Eater to herself.
