The Forbidden Section

Lux had walked up and down the different aisles of the library, passing book after book. She had merely read over a thousand or so book spines, but still couldnt' find the book that she had been looking for. She didn't know it would be so difficult. The Hogwart's Library was gigantic, so there had to be a book that housed this topic.

She eventually stopped adn put a hand on her forehead in frustration. Lux looked over toward the forbidden section of the library. I wonder, she thought. Walking over toward it, she gegan to scan through these different spines. They all felt different to her somehow than the other books she had previously been looking at. These felt more ancient and as if they held more mystery and darkness. As she read, she allowed fo rher finger to trace the book titles.

Celestia walked into the forbidden section of the library. She had never seen so many books in the public section, but she hadnt' seen any of the ones she had been looking for. As she meandered into the darker magic and off-limits section, she ran into Lux. She recognized Lux from her class, but still didn't know the girl too well.

"Hello, Miss Levesque," Celestia said without making eye contact. Her eyes were scanning through the different books and her hands were pulling them out looking at the different covers. "You can't find what you are looking for either?" she asked airily.

Lux froze when she heard Professor Ceres's voice. She stared at her teacher, but then breathed a sigh of relief when she found Ceres to not be too set on busting Lux.

"Er, hello, Professor," Lux greeted her teacher. Professor Ceres was busy looking through the different books, so LUx didn't bother waving. "No, I'm not sure if what I'm looking for even exists in the library. I was hoping I could find it here." Lux felt suddenly self conscious of what she was searching for.

Kylar Deistra was strolling through the Library, pretending he was wanting a book. This wasn't a full act because he did want a book, but not one from one of the normal shelves. No, Kylar wanted a book that was seethed deep in the dark magic. He wanted a book that knew evil so well that it could help combat it. And there is only one place to find such a book... Kylar though to himself as he rounded the corner to the ominous area of the Forbidden Section. It was then that he froze. Straight ahead was one of his teachers, Professor Ceres, and a friend whom he had taken a fancy for, Lux, talking. The sight of the two chatting in the middle of all those darkened books took Kylar by surprise.

The boy began to slowly back away, because he was afraid of the Professor catching him snooping in the Forbidden Section. As Kylar was doing this though, he tripped over a pile of books someone left on the floor, and fell. Kylar's eyes instantly shot toward the two females, to see if they noticed.

At the crashing sound, Lux turned to see that Kylar was on the ground with a pile of books. She looked at the boy with narrow suspicious eyes. Had he been easedropping and following her, or was he in here for a book as well? Lux walked closer to the boy. "Alright, Kylar?" she asked sincerely. She bent down automatically to help pick up the books that now littered the floor. She stacked them in a pile and then scooted them towards the boy. "Are these yours?" she asked, now realizing that the books might not have been his. She wanted to ask why he was in this section, but decided to stick to pleasantries for the moment. She didn't know if the Astronomy Professor would overhear them.
