Jamie sat in a small chair by the dance floor. She smiled as she watched the happy couples slow dancing to a sad song. Jamie had no date. She sat back and sipped some fruit punch from her plastic cup.

Remus walked into the room and looked around for a moment. When he spotted Jamie all alone he figured it would be kind to say hello and ask her how she was doing. "Hello, Jamie", He greeted with his usual, friendly smile.

Krista walked into the dance and saw Remus. She walked over and gently took his hand. "Hello." she saw Jamie and smiled politely. "Hello Jamie."

"Hey Remus, Hey Krista" said Jamie happily. She looked at Remus quietly. She knew he was a warewolf and she wondered how he did it. He was so kind and supporting but so different from her. She smiled back. She wondered if Krista knew his biggest secret. They looked so happy together...

Remus noticed Jamie's expression and wondered what she was thinking. He gave her another smile before glancing towards the center of the dance floor. "Why dont you come and dance, you seem bored", He encouraged. He knew what it felt like to be left out of things, he had felt much of that in his first few years at Hogwarts.
